I had the privilege of working with United Colours of Benetton India to capture a lifestyle session for an influencer’s pre-wedding shoot in Singapore. The goal was simple: create social media-ready photos and short-form videos that highlight the brand’s outfits, playful themes, and the couple’s chemistry—all while keeping the experience natural, fun, and relatable.
Pre-wedding shoots, especially for influencers representing a major brand, come with their own pressure. On the day, heavy rain threatened to throw off the plan. Instead of letting it derail the shoot, we adapted—waiting for breaks in the weather, moving around the city, and making sure the couple stayed happy and comfortable throughout.
The approach was lifestyle-driven and flexible. Rather than forcing rigid setups, we let moments unfold organically, moving through different outfits and locations while capturing candid interactions. The aim was to showcase the clothes, yes—but also the personalities, energy, and joy behind the brand. Keeping the couple relaxed, supported, and confident was just as important as the visuals themselves.
What I love about shoots like this is how much goes on behind the scenes. It’s not just about cameras and lighting—it’s about making people feel looked after. Little things, like a comfortable ride between locations for outfit changes, or making space to pause and reset when fatigue sets in, have a huge impact on the outcome. Without that attention to detail and care, the work can quickly lose its energy, and trust with the client can waver.
By focusing on people first—on comfort, joy, and authenticity—the photos and videos not only showcase the brand beautifully, they also capture real moments that audiences can relate to and engage with. In the end, great campaign visuals aren’t just about aesthetics—they’re about creating an experience that lets everyone feel confident, cared for, and at ease in front of the camera.
