In events like these, the most important thing I remind myself is: how can I document today in a way that speaks for itself? How can I produce content that shows potential clients, friends, and partners what Speedcast does outside of their “routine” work schedule — the extra effort and service they provide to everyone? It has to have human connection.

To complete the story, I also included shots of the hotel’s modern architecture and lush greenery, the expressions on guests’ faces as they entered the room, and the chefs carefully plating their masterpieces. During events like these, the main focus is naturally the event itself, but at the same time, it is often the little moments in between that bring everything together.

As the evening went on, the sun slowly began to set, and the atmosphere completely changed. This was when everyone started networking, having drinks, and exchanging business cards. The sunlight poured into the room and created a fresh new mood, which I immediately took advantage of by experimenting with silhouettes and creating that warm “end-of-the-day” feeling that paired perfectly with the networking session.

I approached the event from multiple perspectives: what the audience would see, what someone standing beside the stage might experience, what the panellists themselves would see, and even the speakers’ point of view. I treated it almost like a drama series, using different scenes and perspectives to tell the story of four speakers on stage.

Watching how things unfolded, seeing everyone slowly open up, clashing glasses with one another, showing off super cool travel and hotel videos, exchanging name cards, and watching presentations by Heaven’s Portfolio — man, it was super cool. As someone who loves luxury hotels, I give this event three thumbs up.
